Dance Videos

Hi Dancers!

I didn't want everyone to forgot the dances over the Christmas break, so I made videos of the dances we've been working on so you can still practice and keep it fresh. Please practice these as much as you can! We'll all be learning one more dance before the recital (which will be March 23rd, with practices on the 20th). So if you can get these dances down before we start up again in January, that'd be great!

Just a note: Some of the dances have been changed a bit from how we had been practicing them. After I recorded them the first time I decided some of the movements looked kinda funny, so I made a few changes and recorded them again. So please please please watch the videos and practice them!

I'd also like to thank my assistants: Mike and Esther. Without them, the head shoulders knees and toes video wouldn't be the same. :)

About Miss Robyn

Hi! I'm Robyn and I teach two of the three Kreative Kids Dance classes.

I began taking my first dance class when I was three years old. From that time on I have always been involved in some sort of dance class or another. Through the years I've studied a lot of different dance styles, but I have studied the following at the college level or higher: jazz, ballet, musical theater, contemporary, tap, American clogging, ballroom, hip-hop, African dance and break dancing.

My husband and I moved to Milwaukee several years ago so he could attend the Medical College of Wisconsin. While we've been here we've had our two children: our little girl, Esther, and our baby boy, Aiden.

I have taught dance before and am excited to get to know you and your children in the upcoming months as we explore dance together.

About Miss Jenna

Hi! My name is Jenna Anderson. I have lived in Milwaukee for the last 3 years with my husband while he attends medical school at MCW. We have two energetic kids, a 3 1/2 year old boy and a 10 month old girl. I took up a lot of activities while I was a kid. First dance, then gymnastics, diving and cheerleading. I coached cheerleading for 3 years while I got my bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Utah. I also taught gymnastics and dance to kids ranging from 4 months to 12 year old's for 4 years before moving out here. I absolutely love working with kids and watching them grow skills while having fun and using their imaginations.

Benefits of Kreative Kids Dance

The goal of the Kreative Kids Dance Program is to help children explore their physical abilities in a healthy and comfortable social environment. Each class targets the skills that are developmentally appropriate for that age group. The benefits from these dance classes are not just limited to learning how to dance.
